If possible go to Jaisalmer. Its a magical land, a land of beautiful sunrises and sunsets, innumerous havelis, beautifully carved temples and sand dunes. I highly recommend it to you. Go there if u can, January or February is the best time, after that it becomes too hot. U've seen above 45 degrees in Chandigarh, in summers Jaisalmer will be 50 degrees + (specially in areas near the border).
